Packaging

A brand concept I created that offers a sampler of exotic and high-end jerky that provides a variety of jerky types, with each type being paired with the best type of wood to smoke that form of protein. The jerky is slow-smoked and contains 6 different flavors/proteins, with one being a mushroom jerky.

Process

I used the Japanese Shou Sugi Ban technique to lightly flame treat the wood and give the box the uneven appeareance of having been smoked

I laser engraved the lid of the box to display the brand identity and created jerky prototypes by wrapping foam pieces with my labels
